About Roger Loomis
Graduated from Evangel University, later doing postgraduate work at Liberty University. He and his wife, Lori, have pastored six churches in North Carolina, Alabama, and Ohio respectively. They founded and now pastor Hope Community, a nondenominational church, located in Jefferson, Ohio. The Loomis’s are ordained with the Assemblies of God International Fellowship (E4 Ministry Network), headquartered in San Diego, California. Monday Morning Preacher is a learning composite of their forty-three years of co-pastoring.
Lori and Roger
Roger and Lori Loomis have co-pastored six churches in 3 states over the past 45 years. Currently, they pastor Hope Community Church in Jefferson, Ohio; a church that they planted five years ago.
They share a love for writing, with both being accomplished authors. The Loomis’ love missions, having preached in Kenya and Pakistan. Lori leads annual missions trips to Kenya, sharing Christ with the Maasai in the bush, and with street children in the impoverished Nairobi slums. Roger also served as a hospice chaplain for ten years.
The couple has 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Their heart is to resource other pastors and ministries through books, blogs and pamphlets that cover a wide variety of ministry topics.
